Emmanuelle Grundmann, a renowned biologist and scientific journalist, has worked on the protection of orangutans in Asia, and has a particular interest in the illegal trade of wild species and, more generally, in the exploitation of fauna and flora by man.

She has also written books and several essays about deforestation and the erosion of biodiversity, published by Calmann-Levy, among which Demain seuls au mode (Tomorrow alone in the world) for which she received the 2010 “Prix Chapitre Nature.
