ROULA LEVENTOURI is a graduate of the Department of History and Archaeology in the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Athens with a postgraduate diploma specialising in the Management of Cultural Units. Upon completion of her studies, she worked as a temporary employee of the 7th Ephorate of Prehistoric & Classical Antiquities on excavations in the prefectures of Ilia, Messenia, and Zakynthos, recording and documenting, and on surface surveys carried out in collaboration with foreign university institutions. Since 2006 she has been working as a curator at the Ephorate of Antiquities of Ilia in the Department of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities and Museums. She has participated in numerous research and excavation programmes and has collaborated with colleagues from universities in Greece and abroad. She has presented papers at various Greek and international conferences. She has published academic studies in collaborative volumes and a series of excavation projects.
