This volume, authored by a leading authority in Cypriote Archaeology, Professor Em. Vassos Karageorghis, and with contributions by other scholars, aspires to make accessible to experts and to the public in large Cypriote artefacts from the collection of the S.O.F.I.A. Foundation in Nicosia, together with a part of the Photos Photiades collection. The volume features some 230 pieces illustrated in superb color photography, which include an impressive array of vases with representative examples of all stylistic tendencies from Late Bronze Age down to Roman times.
