Emmanuelle Grundmann, a renowned biologist and scientific journalist, has worked on the protection of orangutans in Asia, and has a particular interest in the illegal trade of wild species and, more generally, in the exploitation of fauna and flora by man.

She has also written books and several essays about deforestation and the erosion of biodiversity, published by Calmann-Levy, among which Demain seuls au mode (Tomorrow alone in the world) for which she received the 2010 "Prix Chapitre Nature.

Hйlиne Druvert has been a textile designer since she left L’Ecole Duperrй. She lives between Paris and the Basque country where she has her own serigraphy workshop. She has published The Nutcracker Little Theatre, Queens and Princesses and Anatomy at De La Martiniиre Jeunesse, which received a mention at the BolognaRagazzi awards in 2017. Her picture book Paris Flies Away received the “Nuit du livre” award in the picture books category in 2015.
