George Douatzis made his literary debut in 1971, in the ‘Poetry Anthology of the New Greek Generation’, Agyra Publications, and entered journalism in 1974, on the staff of the newspaper Ta Nea. He has worked in all genres of mass media (newspapers, periodicals, radio, television) at all levels (reporter to director). He studied Economics at the Advanced School of Industry in Thessaloniki, and Sociology at the University VIII of Paris.
